Words and for him that is all it takes

The United States has formulated a new strategy in response to the recent anti-government protests that have broken out through the Arab world since the start of 2011, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday. After weeks of internal discussions, the US decided to put its support behind longtime allies who may be willing to initiate political reform, even if that means citizens’ demand for full democracy are delayed.

Despite the fact that US officials are still calling for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s immediate removal from power, White House officials have formed the “Bahrain model.” The proposed system endorses the ruling power to stay in control but works with the local population to create democratic reforms that suit demands of the protesters.

2 cents: Talk, words and no action, the O model. He can now have speeches crafted to be eloquent and beam to him on his teleprompters but positive democratic action will not be taken. Words are his tool and weapon of choice because with words you turn a democratic republic to a socialist nation. You change the government by policies and legislation. You wear out the citizens with words.

See the evil beauty is that words do nothing now for the citizens in nations wanting to democracy BUT words do everything here to rid a nation of the same democracy.

his spots will not change

The consistency of O, the empty suit, is something that I do not understand why conservative talking heads have a problem understanding. You can not seriously or sanely expect a socialist to engage in behavior of an American. Expecting a socialist to behave as such is an example of the definition of insanity. Remember he is not a proud American. He bows to other leaders and has issued official apologies on behalf of you &I – America. So his policy of inaction in Iran, Egypt and now Libya when citizens of the countries were revolting and protesting against their national governments is exactly what one should expect. See at the center of this socialist is pride, arrogance and belligerence and that is at the heart of why he won’t change. We must change not him. He is absolutely right. The principles of the USA are not. We should not expect to see a blood pounding heart for the American values of freedom, liberty & capitalism. And we definitely won’t see them from him.

the hole

I read this NYT article this morning that was the result of two philosophers trying to explain why the majority of people feel “empty” and how to remedy the situation. They tell us to be proactive and participate in things that will provide us “whooshing up” moments. “We get whooshed up at a sports arena, at a political rally or even at magical moments while woodworking or walking through nature.”  The writer of the article points out that these two philosophers writing from the so-called scholarly ivory towers are of the belief that there is no God and since they feel that way and have the empty hole in their lives that the majority of society does as well.

Why I mention this article and am taking the time to post about it is that they do hit the nail on the head, accidentally, as to what many people are and do go through. And this pertains to Christians, religious, spiritual or not. I speak from first hand experience on this. One can have “beliefs” and really not be connected to them. Or another way to put, being spiritual minus the power and peace. In order to have any chance of explaining what I mean I have to speak from what I know so I will address it from the position of a Christian but if the reader is a Buddhist, free-lance, etc I believe they can easily and effectively replace the proper nouns to identify with this better.

For a Christian we are to be Christ-like and that does not just mean “behave”. Jesus came to this earth to save the lost because it was His Father’s will. He suffered and died on the cruel cross of Golgotha because it was God’s will for His life. To be Christ-like, to be a Christian, means to be fulfilling God’s will for your life. In can be to be a Christian book-seller, Christian teacher, Christian janitor, Christian doctor, and it can also be to be a Christian missionary or other similar responsibilities; the bottom line is that we are doing the Father’s will. If we are I am of the firm belief we will not have the empty hole. That does not mean we won’t have rough, tough, miserable times ahead. It just means the hole will be filled and there is a peace that passes all understanding when that is the case.

Our nation claims to be religious/spiritual but the truth of the matter is our nation is religious/spiritual only at a certain place and at a certain time/s a week; the other days of the week we are doing what we want, when we want and doing our best to accumulate wealth, prosperity or simply covering the weekly or monthly living expenses. There is without a doubt a large hole.

Selfishness, prosperity seeking and the like are never ever satisfied; they will always leave a hole.

So the question is simple, whose will are you trying to fulfill?

 

We are not all created equal

It is long past the time we need to come to grips with this inaccurate phrase: all are created equal.

One can call it fate, chance, or God but whatever word you use to describe the fact that you were born at such a place and not another, to a woman and not a different woman, at such a time and not 200 or 3000 years ago – we are not created equal.

We have people who get unfair breaks because they trade on their family name. They have no better talent than many others who are involved in the same hobby, vocation, or trade – they however were born to a family that has power behind their name. The child, now an adult has done nothing to bring about their own existence into this world and to whom and when it occurred. They have the unfair edge and advantage over many people far more talented that were not born under the celebrity or power names of our times.

We have people who are born in settings and circumstances that are below poverty that have talent and a heart that can accomplish great things if only they had the edge or advantage of being born in the UK or US instead of New Guinea, Pakistan, Thailand and so on.

Life is not fair. All of us are not created equal.

But wouldn’t it be great if some people of wealth and power had a passion to share their edge and advantage with those who could better those around them and maybe even the world if they had such an opportunity? What if we cared enough to try to spread opportunities for others to shine?

a generation – part three

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:34-35 KJV)

 

This may very well be the first time I had read and heard about something and grasped it enough to launch me into my love of timetables and the future.  Jesus is very specific – the generation that sees the budding of the fig tree will not pass from the earth without seeing all those things mentioned in the earlier verses come to be. So just how long is that? See – then we have a timetable. We can get a very clear idea of some of what our future holds. Yeah – OUR future.

A key to Bible understanding is to always let the Bible interpret itself. To the best of my knowledge (which obviously means the accumulated books of experts that I have) there are three different definitions for the word generation in the Bible.  Why different definitions – that can be a possible subject for a post in the future – it’s not important to the question now because we are aware of the fact we are looking at three possible scenarios.

One definition for generations is in Matthew 1:17 which work out to 42 years in a generation. That means Jesus would have come back in 1990 – obviously that did not happen.

Another definition for generation is in Psalm 90:10 which work out to be 70 years which puts the Second Advent at no later than 2018.

The third definition is given in Genesis 15:13 which puts it at 100 years and that would means the Second Advent would occur no later than 2048.

So timetable date for the beginning of the millennial reign of Christ on earth is no later than 2048; which also tells us that the latest date that the great tribulation will begin is 2041. And knowing that the abomination of desolation is smack in the middle of the great tribulation places it in the year (no later) than mid 2045.

We can also determine a way to quickly rule out 2018 if indeed it is the wrong definition of a generation. Assuming the Second Advent occurs in 2018 we know the great tribulation will begin in 2011 (yes, I know) which means anytime in the next 400 days a global event is going to occur in which millions of people will disappear. If you are here and witness the hysteria after such an event you can know quite a few things with absolute certainty about your life over the next handful of years (at the most) – the great tribulation is about to start and it begins with a peace treaty being signed that involves Israel. Life on earth is going to get rougher than you could have ever imagined.

Predicament

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

“THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.”

I wish I was so eloquent so as to share with you/anyone my feelings and belief about our country, our government and our predicament. If I had the patience and time I would comb through my books and other texts to provide many quotes, examples for why I “feel” and “believe” what I do. I lack the patience to wait and prepare such a draft because I fear that by the time I actually completed the draft it would be too late.

One truth, I believe there is a time, a parcel of the future where once we reach it that it will indeed be too late. At this moment I believe we are quite close to that parcel.

Second truth, I believe that our country has been the victim of deliberate actions meant to undermine and ruin what the country was meant to be. It began in the days of the nation’s founding but gained traction in the early 1800s and ever since has quietly and destructively rolled onto its goals – sabotage.

Third truth, our nation has been and is being sabotaged. Sabotaged as defined in the Random House dictionary “1. any underhand interference with production, work, etc., in a plant, factory, etc., as by enemy agents during wartime or by employees during a trade dispute. 2. any undermining of a cause.“

Fourth truth, the vast majority of our country’s citizens do not know enough about what America was suppose to be and founded as to be aware of the acts of sabotage that have occurred and are occurring.

Fifth truth, as I see it, the only way our country can be saved and restored to what it was founded as and meant to be is by revolution. Revolution as defined in the Random House dictionary “an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed.”
