Japan, Iran and Russia connection

Seeing the headline in today’s New York Post  that Japan is relinquishing to the USA more than 700 pounds of weapons-grade plutonium and a large quantity of highly enriched uranium, a decades-old research stockpile that is large enough to build dozens of nuclear weapons I believe is an example of what O is pushing for in backroom talks with Israel. I have wrote before that I think he is deceptively and discreetly in additional backroom conversations with Iran about the nuclear program, slowly getting the pieces in place to come at Netanyahu and Israel about the unverified nuclear program they have.

Note that the nuclear talks with Iran have only let up pressure on the Iranians in return for what has in essence their appearing to be nice.

And while mentioning Iran I figure I should “put out there” the whole Russia/Ukrainian/Crimea drama. Why put it like that? Because I think it is all linked and throw in also Syria. The thought occurred to me yesterday “what if Crimea and yet to unfold events in Ukraine is merely “payment” to Putin for his actions in: 1) changing the story line is Syria so O could save some face 2) future leveraging of Russia’s unique position and relationship with Iran as the nuclear drama unfolds?” What if the so-called “powers that be” treated Crimea and quite possibly Ukraine as a pawn and sacrificed it for what they consider “the greater good”?

But back to Iran and Israel – I believe Kerry and O’s beating of the peace war drums in reference to the Palestinians and Israel peace talks is the equivalent of pounding a piece of meat to tenderize it for cooking. All the actions will lead to the Iranian and/or USA demand for Israel to relinquish their nuclear weapons. Why? To aid the Muslim world as well as any other anti-Semitic peoples in their quest to rid the world of the nation of Israel and the Jews. If you are someone who has studied Bible prophecy you know that this will happen again and it will be far more effective than when Hitler tried it. It will happen.

Lie now, deal with it later

From The Hill

“Health industry officials say ObamaCare-related premiums will double in some parts of the country, countering claims recently made by the administration.

The expected rate hikes will be announced in the coming months amid an intense election year, when control of the Senate is up for grabs. The sticker shock would likely bolster the GOP’s prospects in November and hamper ObamaCare insurance enrollment efforts in 2015.

The industry complaints come less than a week after Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius sought to downplay concerns about rising premiums in the healthcare sector. She told lawmakers rates would increase in 2015 but grow more slowly than in the past.

“The increases are far less significant than what they were prior to the Affordable Care Act,” the secretary said in testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee.

Her comment baffled insurance officials, who said it runs counter to the industry’s consensus about next year.

“It’s pretty shortsighted because I think everybody knows that the way the exchange has rolled out … is going to lead to higher costs,” said one senior insurance executive who requested anonymity.

From the Daily Caller

Health insurance premiums have risen more after Obamacare than the average premium increases over the eight years before it became law, according to the private health exchange eHealthInsurance.

The individual market for health insurance as seen premiums rise by 39 percent since February 2013, eHealth reports. Without a subsidy, the average individual premium is now $274 a month. Families have been hit even harder with an average increase of 56 percent over the same period — average premiums are now $663 per family, over $426 last year.

Between 2005 and 2013, average premiums for individual plans increased 37 percent and average family premiums were upped 31 percent. So they have risen faster under Obamacare than in the previous eight years.

2 cents:

Lie now and deal with it later is the SOP for the Obama administration when it comes to the so-called Affordable Care Act which the name itself is guilty of the rule. Lie now, it has been the go to for many of his poor policies and actions. Lie now because he wants something done and despite what he believes about himself, he doesn’t know everything or even half so. Policies and actions of this president are not based off of or from strong and sound foundations. But he doesn’t want to be bothered with such details because he believes he is right so – say and do whatever needs to be done to get done what I want. That is the summation of this president. He wants the pomp but not the circumstance. He must be worshipped but don’t hold him accountable. He is a monstrosity born from the superficial narcissistic bent of our society. God, in His infinite wisdom, gave us – the citizens of the USA – a president we deserved. Heaven help us. Now Almighty God let us have an American Spring so the ship of our country can be righted and healed.

Eatinger identified as CIA top lawyer central to Feinstein’s statement

The top CIA lawyer mentioned and central to the comments Feinstein made about the ongoing unethical and illegal actions of the CIA is Robert Eatinger.

The Guardian has an article following the comments and what has transpired since.

From the Guardian article:
“Eatinger, a longtime agency lawyer with counter-terrorism experience, was cited on Monday by the panel’s chairwoman, Dianne Feinstein of California, in her seminal speech lashing out at the CIA. Without naming him, Feinstein indicated he was instrumental in the agency’s now-abandoned torture practices, and had been cited over 1,600 times in the classified Senate torture investigation.

Feinstein said Eatinger, whom senators have taken care not to name, had alerted the Justice Department to her staff’s removal of a CIA document from a classified facility – which both Feinstein and Udall cite as a conflict of interest.

Ahead of Krass’s arrival at the CIA, Udall called on Eatinger to immediately recuse himself from any internal matters related to either the torture inquiry or the Senate panel generally. “We need to correct the record on the CIA’s coercive detention and interrogation program and declassify the Senate intelligence committee’s exhaustive study of it. I released my hold on Caroline Krass’s nomination today and voted for her to help change the direction of the agency,” Udall said in a statement on Thursday.

In a statement, CIA director John Brennan said was “extremely pleased” that the Senate had confirmed Krass, and praised Eatinger as “an exemplary public servant who has demonstrated throughout his career exceptional competence and integrity”.”

2 cents:

Considering what has come to light publicly I wonder just how long Brennan will remain as the CIA Director. I suggest within the next year he will make a statement he wants to now spend more time with family and friends and pursue some new interests. Which is all good because he is corrupt as well.

Ukraine: word of warning – focus on allies in Europe not the USA

Ukraine’s interim prime minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk needs to speak with eastern European countries such as Poland about the willingness and integrity of Obama and his administration. Ukraine needs to use EU allies such as Merkel to broker a draw down of escalation and the actual removal of troops from Crimea. Putin is a chess player and I am certain that his posturing with Crimea is to get the Ukrainian government to keep the ties with Russia and be part of the bloc as the previous Russian crony had decided. Yatsenyuk needs to be cautious with his words and urgent admonition that Ukraine is looking westward and that is where it will go. He needs to focus on the matter about his country and Russia and put that matter to the side. It may be quite possible once he talks with Putin to identify a third option that will allow both sides to get what they want.

But still — bottom-line —- For the sake of the Ukrainians, Yatsenyuk do not rely on Obama.
