Michelle Obama’s ‘Hopelessness’ Shows It Sucks to Be a Liberal

It’s a shame that Michelle Obama says she’s feeling hopeless this Christmas, especially after all the wonderful opportunities she’s had as America’s first lady. It goes to show you that liberalism is like a disease that won’t be satisfied until it devours all of you. Undoubtedly, all the designer gown-wearing, Hollywood hobnobbing, $100-per-serving wagyu steak indulging and taxpayer-funded globetrotting won’t fix the hopelessness which ails her. It’s hard to be hope-filled when you tangle yourself in a web of bitterness and resentment over America’s past.

Just last year, Mrs. Obama shared how she really feels during a racially-divisive commencement speech at Tuskegee University that would have made its founder, Booker T. Washington, grieve. In fact, in his book, “My Larger Education,” Washington warned readers about people like her, calling them “problem profiteers.”

Washington wrote: “There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

Michelle’s “problem profiteering” came across loud and clear with her admission of hopelessness during the recent Oprah Winfrey interview. She came across like a spoiled brat when she said, “We are feeling what not having hope feels like” — although her husband, Mr. Hope-and-Change himself, had eight years to propagate hope had he not been so preoccupied with change.

Mrs. Obama is leaving the White House with the same negative attitude about America she’s had most of her adult life. Apparently, it changed temporarily, when her husband became the 2008 Democrat Party nominee.

“For the first time in my adult life,” she said, “I am really proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

But, now that President Obama’s on his way out the door, hope is too.

It’s as if she sincerely believes that hope rises and falls based on her husband. It is enormously arrogant to suggest that any human being has that much power, let alone someone whose policies: wrecked healthcare and made it unaffordable, hurt manufacturing and downgraded the job market, lowered household incomes and added millions to food stamp rolls, weakened the military and made us less safe, played class politics and eviscerated racial unity — to name a few.

With “hope” like that, no wonder Americans voted for change.

Obviously, Michelle won’t be happy until everyone feels as hopeless as she does about America.

But, that’s not going to happen.

In fact, the Electoral College just met and did its job to seal the deal for Trump, who won more counties that any candidate since Ronald Reagan. The U.S. Constitution worked, despite the obnoxious temper tantrums, death threats and harassment hurled at the electors by crazy, crybaby leftists who refuse to accept the fact that if Americans had wanted to give Obama a third term, Hillary Clinton would’ve handily won.

Instead, voters sent the leftist, totalitarian agenda packing. And stocks rose and poll after poll reflect that Americans have a growing and glowing optimism about the direction America is headed.

If that is Michelle Obama’s definition of hopelessness, then it sucks to be a liberal.

Comey to Trump: The Russians Didn’t Influence the Election

In telephone conversations with Donald Trump, FBI Director James Comey assured the president-elect there was no credible evidence that Russia influenced the outcome of the recent U.S. presidential election by hacking the Democratic National Committee and the e-mails of John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

What’s more, Comey told Trump that James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence, agreed with this FBI assessment.

The only member of the U.S. intelligence community who was ready to assert that the Russians sanctioned the hacking was John Brennan, the director of the CIA, according to sources who were briefed on Comey’s conversations with Trump.

“And Brennan takes his marching orders from President Obama,” the sources quoted Comey as saying.

In Comey’s view, the leaks to the New York Times and the Washington Post alleging that the Russians tried—and perhaps even succeeded—in tilting the election to Trump were a Democratic Party effort to delegitimize Trump’s victory.

During their phone conversations, Comey informed Trump that the FBI had been alert for the past year to the danger that the Russians would try to cause mischief during the U.S. presidential election.

However, whether the Russians did so remains an open question, Comey said, adding that it was just as likely that the hacking was done by people who had no direct connection to the Russian government.

“It’s also unclear,” the sources pointed out, “why Putin would have preferred dealing with Donald Trump, who has promised a major military buildup, over Hillary Clinton, who would have continued Barack Obama’s cautious policies toward the Kremlin.”

And note again the MSM is spreading the lies or as they coin the phrase “fake news”. Like all the build up for the recent presidential election. Like many times through our history, news/info/actually LIES are repeated and expounded upon over and over ad nauseam because of the ESTABLISHMENT’S AGENDA. Undoubtedly hoping now to delegitimize Trump’s victory but probably more importantly – to trick the electoral college so that they will vote for the CORRUPT POLITICIAN Hillary.

Eight horrible years of the chief empty suit’s deliberate dismanteling and destruction of our society is coming to an end. No longer will we have a *cough, cough* leader *hack, spit* that does not believe in the exceptionalism of America. A very succint sad commentary of the people who elected him don’t you think? Our MSM and the other TPTB believe in disintegrating our country, our society, our neighborhoods and our homes. Again another sad commentary about the people who elected him the prior two elections.
Did you know that DC voted overwhelmingly for Hillary? 92.8% for her!!

Drain the swamp indeed!!!!

First round of suggestions I submitted at the Trump website for making America great again.

1. term limits on Congress (senators and house) that they can not hold a position in Congress for longer than 12 years in their lifetime.
2. Members of Congress salary must be no higher than the average salary of employed citizens as identified as employed by so-called government official numbers such as the same source data used to determine the % of unemployment each month.
3. True completely transparent % of unemployed citizens in the USA each month. Not stacking the data to eliminate impact of the high number of actual unemployed individuals. For example making sure that the formula for determining the % is true and put in such a way that the average citizen can understand it.
4. Concise top/executive level synopsis each month on the budget and actual spending of the federal government as well as the request put to state and county governments to follow in this standardization of transparency.
5. At least a 50% increase in the federal income tax dependent/s deduction from the gross wages earned. More suggestions to follow…

It’s NOT fake!

What worries me the most about fake news, isn’t that it’s fake, it’s that it’s being used by the left to try to silence opposing views.

Take for example a story reported by the Los Angeles Times that included a professor who put together a Google document of “false, misleading, clickbait-y and satirical ‘news sources’” to help people “cleanse their newsfeeds of misinformation.”

The only problem with the list, was it included real news sites of which the professor simply didn’t agree. Conservative blogs, including Red State and The Blaze, were on the list, as was more centrist, but GOP-leaning Independent Journal Review (IJR). None of those sites are fake — they often just peddle in the real news purposely not covered by the mainstream media.

“Not all of these sources are always or inherently problematic, neither are all of them fake or false,” the professor, Melissa Zimdars, at Merrimack College in Massachusetts told the Times. ” … They should be considered in conjunction with other news/info sources due to their tendency to rely on clickbait headlines or Facebook descriptions, etc.”

So, just like MSNBC, Huffington Post, Slate, Mother Jones, and ThinkProgress — all partisan left outlets, which often use exaggeration and hyperbole to emphasize their point — which weren’t included on her list.

CNN’s media columnist Brian Stelter also has warned about “fake news,” but in his diatribe, he included right-leaning Fox News and alt-right website Breitbart in the mix.

“Breitbart is anti-media. Much of Fox News is anti-media. Fake news websites and some right wing blogs are anti-media. These outlets provide a different audience with a different set of facts about the world. But too often what they’re really selling is opinion and conspiracy theory masquerading as fact. These sites, these outlets, they present themselves as the opposite of traditional news sources, the antidote to mainstream media,” he said.

What he’s right about is there does need to be an antidote to the mainstream media. Because often what he — and other newsrooms around the country — view as “opinion and conspiracy theory” are all too often real news stories that simply don’t fit their agenda.

 

The possibility that Donald Trump could become president? CNN never had a map that could get him to 270 electoral votes. Respected pollster FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver got chastised the week leading up to the election because he had Mr. Trump’s chances at about 30 percent — far higher than any of the broadcast networks or other pollsters who engaged in group-think.

Paid protesters are another example.

We know, after an undercover video was released by conservative group Project Veritas, that two Democratic operatives had to step down from their positions because it looked as though they were trying to hire protesters to incite violence at Mr. Trump’s rallies.

These two men didn’t lose their jobs because they were innocent — or because the videos were “highly edited” like the mainstream media charged. Clearly something was going on there. But only right-wing outlets (or “fake,” “anti-media” blogs) covered it, with barely a mention at CNN, NPR or any of the broadcast news networks.

When Mr. Trump said during a presidential debate that protesters were hired and told to do “bad things” at his rallies, PolitiFact even admitted that “too much remains unknown to put it on the Truth-O-Meter.”

So it seems like it would be something investigative journalists would want to, well, investigate.

But not according to Washington Post reporter Phillip Bump.

When Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse asked on Twitter after the election, why wasn’t there more reporting on the anti-Trump protests — like who they were organized by and if they were paid for — Mr. Bump took offense.

“Sasse’s question is a bit like asking why we don’t have more reporting on the fact that the Moon is preparing a superweapon with which to annex Antarctica,” Mr. Bump wrote, in an article titled: “Sen. Sasse here are some answers to your questions about ‘paid rioting.’”

When confronted on Twitter about his lack of intellectual curiosity from a reader, Mr. Bump responded: “Allow me to reply in a way you’ll grasp: derp, derp, derp.”

So yes, we need an antidote to this sort of media — and that often comes in the likes of the Federalist — who did an epic take-down of Mr. Bump last week — or The Washington Times, Washington Free-Beacon, The Daily Caller, and, yes, Breitbart.

None of it is fake — it’s merely doing the job the mainstream media refuses to do.

Don’t believe them

MSM and the Establishment it represents is already busy filling the airwaves and internet with false information hoping to:
1. incite protests and more violent the better by the “people of love and acceptance” (hack, hack) liberals
2. poison the waters internationally of governments who do not understand the corrupt and biased relationship MSM has with TPTB, so that governments stances who immediately be divisive and uncooperative with the new President and his administration

Again all of this TRUTH and REALITY should PLAINLY show that MSM and TPTB do not have the BEST INTEREST of our country and its citizens as the priority.
Please let the sentence sink in.

That sentence/truth includes the Republican National Party.

Also keep in mind between now and the time Trump becomes the actual President of the country he needs to do face-time things because it is expected. He may also say remarks that possibly indicate a change in his political platform. Just smile when you read or hear it. He has to tread water between now and then. He has to play nice with individuals. In these interactions MSM will say he said certain things. Just smile.

Soon things will change.

Polling misfires to be explored

No surprise MSN would spin this.

Trump voters were ashamed to be honest to the exit pollsters. LOL And some other “excuses” offered.

No the issue is and was and has been the SOP for at least 40 years – the unethical practices of those who are capturing data and then calculating it.
