Election Day and Its Impact

This presidential election makes me nervous. We need so desperately for the incumbent to lose this election. The “we” is our nation’s present and future.  This isn’t about mere partisan politics this is about ending a totally destructive direction and approach that the incumbent has forced our nation into.

Mr. Krauthammer’s newest column which is titled “The Choice” in it he shares with the reader the historical perspective of this election.

Hamas aims Grad at Dimona reactor

From Debka this morning:

Less than 24 hours after Sudanese President Omar Bashir pledged “decisive steps against Israeli interests which are now legitimate targets,” for the destruction of the Iranian missile plant in Khartoum, Palestinian rocket teams early Sunday, Oct. 28, fired Grad missiles as target finders against Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona. This is reported exclusively by DEBKAfile. They exploded on open ground in the Ramat Negev district southwest of the town of Dimona.
The nuclear plant is only 42.5 kilometers as the crow flies from the southern Gaza Strip.  Saturday night, the Israeli Air Force struck a Palestinian rocket team in the southern Gaza town of Khan Younes, killing one Hamas operative and injuring a second critically.
The Palestinian Hamas has evidently launched a new and expanded targeting-policy marking two developments of grave import: One: Its rulers have submitted the Gaza Strip to Tehran for use as its southern operational arm against Israel, complementing Hizballah’s pivotal role to the north of Israel; and two, having acquired improved surface missiles, Hamas is setting its sights firmly on the most sensitive locations within their reach, e.g., Israel’s nuclear reactor and air force bases and the American X-band radar station in the Negev.
The Islamist rulers of Gaza are expected to keep on trying to perfect their aim.
Israel’s defense ministry and high IDF command sounded at sea Sunday over this dangerous new departure. The IDF spokesperson started out by disclosing that one Grad rocket from Gaza had been aimed at the city of Beersheba, later raising the number to two, both of which exploded outside the city.
But the Grad launched against the nuclear reactor at 07:44 was followed by hours of official silence. Even then, the army spokesperson reported a missile fired against Ramat Hanegev in general terms, without mentioning the reactor’s location in that district at its northernmost point.
It was the second time in three weeks that Tehran was seen to be focusing on Israel’s nuclear plant, DEBKAfile’s military sources note. On Oct. 6, an Iranian stealth drone which flew over Israel managed to photograph the reactor building and its air defense system’s radar. The data gathered was given to Hamas to help guide its first rocket attack on Dimona.

2 cents: Israel will now have to decide how to best react to these new attacks that are attempting to harm the nuclear plant in Dimona. Iran is foolishly helping the re-election of Netanyahu by the continuous attacks on the small nation. Of course being the Islamists that they are they have cornered themselves into never using compromise in order to have peace. Peace with Israel is impossible for an Islamist and don’t let the MB fool you. With the new targets determined in Israel, the actions should also force some reaction by the US, especially if the American X-band radar station in the Negev is attacked. It will be interesting to see just how much change will occur if their is a change in US leadership.

While Noonan’s recent article is good and in most ways accurate she missed another part of the story which is in the debate America and the world saw the chief empty suit without the huge mechanism of liberal spin – the MSM – being the mechanism that delivers, buffers and spins the arrogant and belligerent novice’s rhetoric and philosophy. Please note how the facilitator of the last two debates was a topic/subject matter churned and swirled by the MSM leading up to each debate as well as following the event. A planned disruption and scapegoat needed to be readied in the event that the president once again showed up as himself. The MSM was the overwhelming catalyst that swept this novice into the chief office of the US government – people need to not forget that as well as understand that.

Noonan’s article “When Americans Saw the Real Obama” is well worth reading.

Link to Krauthammer’s most recent article “Obama stoops, doesn’t conqueror” is a good commentary on the third debate.

At this moment I am not certain who is going to win the election. My gut wants to say Romney but the unethical immoral shenanigans that Obama/Democrats will deploy so as to not lose, alarm me. The threats of violence and rioting if he loses also makes me sick because that is NOT THE WAY civilized responsible people should behave. Remember how things played out when Gore lost to Bush? I think we will experience a collective/mass episode  of deja vu in a couple weeks.

LIVES WERE LOST

Very unsettling documents have been released that reflect what many people already stated – Benghazi deaths and injuries were not only targeted, planned events but that Stevens had been warning the State Dept. that things were spiraling out of control and they were being threatened. Hillary has stated the buck stops with her which is true to a point. Ultimately the buck stops with the president but considering we have a vacuum of leadership in that role we will have to settle with the buck stopping with her. Investigations are needed obviously but in the meantime some response is needed. Not a response of ringing one’s hands, wagging a finger or putting one’s hand in someone’s face to stop the dialogue. Response and repercussions are overdue.

O has had over a month to figure out how best to position himself in this real tragic situation. He is an arm-chair quarterback unable to perform in fluid situations. He is a poser (see second debate for examples).

Still though lives were lost. Human beings who meant much to many people are no longer interacting with family, friends and peers. Hugs are no longer experienced. Conversations and play are unable be enjoyed. LIVES WERE LOST. And all the executive branch of our government can muster is photo-ops and political rhetoric. LIVES WERE LOST. One’s pension, if actually paid, means little to those individuals — most certainly they would rather have the living person. But LIVES WERE LOST because of failed policies. Because of believing one’s political spin instead of facts. LIVES WERE LOST and yet time and lives go on.  Repercussions for the vacuum of leadership?

Crossing another red line

From Debka this morning:
“Tehran managed to install the last four clusters of 174 centrifuges each inside in “Fordo’s B Chamber” shortly before European Union foreign ministers approved toughened sanctions in Brussels Monday, 15 Oct….This is in line with Tehran’s consistent response to every form of pressure, financial, economic, intelligence or military, which is to whip up its nuclear program for an extra spurt and leave no assault unanswered….DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources report that the Iranians are preparing to change the “active formation” of the Fordo centrifuges and adapt them for refining uranium up to the 60 percent level, a short step before the weapons grade of 90 percent. The conversion is expected to be ready to go in the second half of December or early January, 2013…US and Israeli intelligence experts on Iran recently arrived at a consensual assessment that Fordo was the only site capable of producing uranium enriched to the high 90 percent level.
Iran has therefore leapt across another red line in its steady advance toward a nuclear capability and is about to across its next….

But both the British and Israeli prime ministers haven’t forgotten that only a few weeks ago, Israel had marked with a red line a fully operational Fordo which had to be stopped before it was buried out of reach in “an immune zone.”

That line was crossed this week and still Israel has refrained from action.

What this means for Tehran is that, so long as Israel heeds the “advice” coming from Washington and London, and President Obama holds back from the “October surprise” proposed by one of his insiders, Tehran need not be afraid to go forward and start refining uranium up to 60 percent and, from there, all the way up to the manufacture of a nuclear bomb without hindrance.”

2 cents:
I wonder how long it will be before any of the MSM in the USA reports this.  If I was Romney I would bring this point up today at an appearance and do so for at least 24 hours. Tie this feat around the neck of O and his lack of leadership and poor decision making.  Before making the comments I would suggest confirming this report with Netanyahu privately.

It is an atrocity that Iran has been allowed to progress this far.

Obama camp tips hand on debate, hints President will attack Romney on Bain.

Really? You want to go there?

May I suggest….

Mr. Romney in response to the president, “In preparation for the debate I was trying to research your private sector experience president and realized you had NONE which could explain why our economy is where it is today.”

(Bowing) Your welcome :O)
