The truth about sin

Sin says “this one time, this sin, just once. That’s it, we won’t do it again.”

What u don’t understand is that sin – scars.

And then plants a seed.

The bible says, the works of the flesh are these, and then it lists them.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  [20]  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  [21]  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like”…

But the bottomline is that the same spirit that caused you to become a murder is the same spirit that also causes you to become an adulterer.

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

Notice – it is not the spirits that work in the children of disobedience, it is the SPIRIT – singular – that works in the children…

What does that mean?

It means the potential is in all of us (due to our old nature, our own flesh) that the potential of sin: murder, adultery and so on but with the power of the Holy Spirit in the believer and our obedience to him, we can overcome it. You don’t have to be a servant to sin or servant to the flesh.

Sin says, “it’s a secret, no one will find out.”

What does the bible say? “…and be sure your sin will find you out.”

And usually when sin does find you out, it is at the most embarrassing time and when it does find you out, it usually ends up hurting people that u would never want to hurt in your lifetime.

“When I sin, the only person I am hurting is myself.”  You can say that. You can try your best to believe that lie. It’s a lie. You are hurting everybody that loves you. Your going to drag them down with you. And they are going to pay too for what you do.

The rotten fruit of the rotten trees of so-called mainline Christian denominations

“It makes sense that witchcraft and the occult would rise as society becomes increasingly postmodern,” author Julie Roys, formerly of Moody Radio, told the Christian Post. “The rejection of Christianity has left a void that people, as inherently spiritual beings, will seek to fill.”

Roys added that witchcraft is especially attractive to Millenials because it has been “effectively repackaged.”

“No longer is witchcraft and paganism satanic and demonic,” said Roys. “[I]t’s a ‘pre-Christian tradition’ that promotes ‘free thought’ and ‘understanding of earth and nature.'”

Author and Christian radio (“My Faith Radio”) host Carmen FowlerLaBerge, referencing the Quartz data, tweeted last month, “As mainline Protestantism continues its devolution, the U.S. witch population is rising astronomically. There may now be more Americans who identify as practicing witches, 1.5 mil, than there are members of mainline Presbyterianism (PCUSA) 1.4 mil.”

  5. Development of so-called scholarly subjects as higher-criticism, textual criticism, Greek 1, 2, 3, Greek exegesis, Greek syntax, readings in Greek literature, likewise path of study of & in Hebrew…
  6. The development of “Christian” leaders who no longer believe that God”s word is inerrant, the Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son, propitiation, atonement, etc.
  7. Such Christian leaders go out in the nation and infect local churches across the nation.
  8. Steps 3-6 increase not only in volume but in the depths of apostasy
  9. So called bible perversions (well over 150 since 1900) that further attack the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Trinity, etc
  10. The members of local churches have their soul vexed by the continuous bombardment in step 7 & 8
  11. Their souls get vexed further by their enjoyment of television, movies, entertainment.
  12. And to now rush to the conclusion…. the rejection of Christianity because the majority of churches and their ministers are steeped in apostasy.

Jerusalem, the city of JEHOVAH, the LORD OF HOSTS and the capital of Israel

The UN, an assembly which from the start has been a FAILURE in oh so many ways…
An organization that is attached to the purse springs of TPTB and the USA taxpayers…
The organization which has hundreds of organizations who also are attached to the purse springs of TPTB and the USA taxpayers…

Consider today that the majority 128 in favor, 9 against and 35 abstention in essence is trying to pressure the USA (Trump) into taking his statements and plan to put the USA embassy in Jerusalem. (An action contradicting Chapter 1, Article 2, see below.) (The vote roll below in the image)

(BTW – Jerusalem is the capital of Israel whether u want to recognize it as such or not. One day, hopefully very soon, all of this will be resolved as promised by God.
For example Zechariah 14 KJV or this is in Zechariah 8:21-23 KJV:
[21] And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily, and to pray before the LORD to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.
[22] Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
[23] Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.)

But I digress…

The UN has been around for more than a couple hundred wars (an irony considering its motto/purpose/mission statement).
Preamble below, emphasis added by me.

WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED

  • to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and
  • to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and
  • to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and
  • to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

AND FOR THESE ENDS

  • to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours, and
  • to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, and
  • to ensure, by the acceptance of principles and the institution of methods, that armed force shall not be used, save in the common interest, and
  • to employ international machinery for the promotion of the economic and social advancement of all peoples,

HAVE RESOLVED TO COMBINE OUR EFFORTS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE AIMS

Accordingly, our respective Governments, through representatives assembled in the city of San Francisco, who have exhibited their full powers found to be in good and due form, have agreed to the present Charter of the United Nations and do hereby establish an international organization to be known as the United Nations.

From Chapter 1, again emphasis added by me:

Article 1

The Purposes of the United Nations are:

  1. To maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;
  2. To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace;
  3. To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion; and
  4. To be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in the attainment of these common ends.

Article 2

The Organization and its Members, in pursuit of the Purposes stated in Article 1, shall act in accordance with the following Principles.

  1. The Organization is based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all its Members.
  2. All Members, in order to ensure to all of them the rights and benefits resulting from membership, shall fulfill in good faith the obligations assumed by them in accordance with the present Charter.
  3. All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.
  4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.
  5. All Members shall give the United Nations every assistance in any action it takes in accordance with the present Charter, and shall refrain from giving assistance to any state against which the United Nations is taking preventive or enforcement action.
  6. The Organization shall ensure that states which are not Members of the United Nations act in accordance with these Principles so far as may be necessary for the maintenance of international peace and security.
  7. Nothing contained in the present Charter shall authorize the United Nations to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state or shall require the Members to submit such matters to settlement under the present Charter; but this principle shall not prejudice the application of enforcement measures under Chapter Vll.

A sad anniversary

481 years ago yesterday William Tyndale was cruelly murder and burned at the stake. His crime? Translating the Bible into the language of the people of his country, English. The pope claimed he was a heretic after the charges made against him by Sir Thomas More, Bishop John Stokesley of London and King Henry VIII. Tyndale had to flee England but as he did, he kept working.

“In May 1535 he was betrayed by Henry Phillips as he left the house of Thomas Pontz. He was the merchant who had given him shelter in Antwerp. He was arrested and taken to Vilvorde castle near Brussels. There he was kept a prisoner for 18 months in the most wretched conditions. He was treated like a wicked murderer, when all he had done was translate the Bible into a readable language. During those 18 months, the authorities” such as Sir Thomas More archbishops and priests of the Roman Catholic church tried to make Tyndale say what he believed was wrong, and to say that it was untrue that man can reach salvation by Christ alone. But Tyndale refused to deny the truth, and said he would rather die and join his Lord in Heaven than deny his word and shame him. So in August 1536 they declared Tyndale a heretic and two months later he was killed by strangulation, then his corpse was burned in the city square.”

This is what happens when the Roman Catholic church has infiltrated governments and has the power to operate as it would like to. Things will be no different in the future. Look at the King James Bible( because the other versions are taken from the Greek Catholic text of Westcott and Hort which is the Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus which change words and also omit them). Look in the Bible and read Revelation 13, 17 & 18. No it isn’t a parable. No it is not fiction. It is a warning.

William Tyndale, by creating the New Testament in English gave the reader the opportunity to read for themselves what Christ had done and said. They can read what Paul, Peter, Luke, Matthew, John, Mark, Jude had wrote. The reader could now plainly see for example in Hebrews that the mass was itself a heresy 4:12-5:14; 7; 8; 9; 10:1-18. Much of these text not in the Catholic documents. Or in 6:59-69 that when He said eat his flesh it was not literal but words explaining a spiritual truth.

The further result of simply translating the word of God into English? Those found with a copy were either beaten or killed – by the Roman Catholic church. The Roman Catholic church sought out and destroyed every copy they could gather.

William Tyndale gave his life so that the word of God was no longer bound and locked to  the “common” people. Before he was strangled he said, “Lord, open the king of England’s eyes.”

Since that day, Satan and the Roman Catholic church have been working hard to obscure the word of God, in essence removing from the people the word of God while giving them a “bible”. More on that in later posts.

I look forward to meeting Mr. Tyndale and telling him how much I appreciate what he did.
