The degeneration of our society

I am working on a post that (I hope) will provide an analysis of material I have been digesting over the past six months. I have found it quite interesting that over the past month I am seeing others who are writing or recording about very similar matters and are coming to many of the same conclusions. In the meantime I am sharing the recent article from Linda Kimball that is quite good and relevant to these matters and our society. Her article is titled “Your soul: Cost of admission to Progressivism’s City of Man (new Sodom and Rome)“. The article takes less than five minutes to read but will “stick to your ribs” for much longer.

Here are a few quotes:

“It stated, essentially, that traditionalists are mentally disturbed. Scholars from the Universities of Maryland, California at Berkeley, and Stanford had determined that social conservatives…suffer from ‘mental rigidity,’ ‘dogmatism,’ and ‘uncertainty avoidance,’ together with associated indicators for mental illness.“ (‘Social and Emotional Learning” Jan. 26, 2005, edwatch.org) 

For more than eighty years, but with great speed and force since the 1960’s ‘sex, drugs, and rock’n’ roll’ revolution, America’s Progressive ruling class has been stealthily undermining America’s founding worldview, seizing control of our culture and mind-shaping institutions (i.e., seminaries, politics, media, academia, music, science, internet), and through them moving our society away from a Biblical/creational worldview to the evolutionary, mystically Gnostic pagan model that undergirds the Progressive fantasy – a City of Man.

Under the guiding hands of vicious Progressive Leftists, straight white men and orthodox Christians are subjected to fiendish psychological bullying while compromising ‘progressivized’ Christian intellectuals and thought-leaders move the church toward faithlessness. At the same time, the wicked are transforming America into a modern version of Sodom and Rome where sodomy was normal, boys were routinely corrupted and perverted by sadists, unwanted babies were sacrificed to the gods (demons), and powerful demoniacs controlled society.

On a daily basis, Christians are psychologically beaten and pressured to self-flagellate as a condition of surrender to the pagan ideology (James 3:15) of pagan ‘elites.’ When Christians give into worldly pressure and ideology it means they’ve submitted their wills, hence their minds, bodies, and children to wicked men and the evil spirits working through them. Surrender means living a lie and falling into a bottomless pit of depravity and insanity, such as acceptance of gender neutral terms like partner, gender queer, gender non-conforming, misgender, two spirit, hir, hirself, zir, and zirself rather than man, woman, husband, wife, mother, and father. The world calls the surrender of will, mind, and body ‘brain washing.’

Modernity and the breakaway free-fall of western civilization in our time

This is a little over 14 minutes long.
It is uncomfortable to view and troubling to see how PLAINLY that our society is not going to get better.
The video is also an accurate summary of how society is nearing the prophetical end of the Lord Jesus Christ’s words:

Luke 17:25-29  But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.  [26]  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  [27]  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  [28]  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  [29]  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

What was the impact to Lot for being there is the land of Sodom and Gomorrah?  2 Peter 2:4-9  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;  [5]  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;  [6]  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;  [7]  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:  [8]  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)  [9]  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

The truth about sin

Sin says “this one time, this sin, just once. That’s it, we won’t do it again.”

What u don’t understand is that sin – scars.

And then plants a seed.

The bible says, the works of the flesh are these, and then it lists them.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  [20]  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  [21]  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like”…

But the bottomline is that the same spirit that caused you to become a murder is the same spirit that also causes you to become an adulterer.

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

Notice – it is not the spirits that work in the children of disobedience, it is the SPIRIT – singular – that works in the children…

What does that mean?

It means the potential is in all of us (due to our old nature, our own flesh) that the potential of sin: murder, adultery and so on but with the power of the Holy Spirit in the believer and our obedience to him, we can overcome it. You don’t have to be a servant to sin or servant to the flesh.

Sin says, “it’s a secret, no one will find out.”

What does the bible say? “…and be sure your sin will find you out.”

And usually when sin does find you out, it is at the most embarrassing time and when it does find you out, it usually ends up hurting people that u would never want to hurt in your lifetime.

“When I sin, the only person I am hurting is myself.”  You can say that. You can try your best to believe that lie. It’s a lie. You are hurting everybody that loves you. Your going to drag them down with you. And they are going to pay too for what you do.

The rotten fruit of the rotten trees of so-called mainline Christian denominations

“It makes sense that witchcraft and the occult would rise as society becomes increasingly postmodern,” author Julie Roys, formerly of Moody Radio, told the Christian Post. “The rejection of Christianity has left a void that people, as inherently spiritual beings, will seek to fill.”

Roys added that witchcraft is especially attractive to Millenials because it has been “effectively repackaged.”

“No longer is witchcraft and paganism satanic and demonic,” said Roys. “[I]t’s a ‘pre-Christian tradition’ that promotes ‘free thought’ and ‘understanding of earth and nature.'”

Author and Christian radio (“My Faith Radio”) host Carmen FowlerLaBerge, referencing the Quartz data, tweeted last month, “As mainline Protestantism continues its devolution, the U.S. witch population is rising astronomically. There may now be more Americans who identify as practicing witches, 1.5 mil, than there are members of mainline Presbyterianism (PCUSA) 1.4 mil.”

  6. The development of “Christian” leaders who no longer believe that God”s word is inerrant, the Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son, propitiation, atonement, etc.
  7. Such Christian leaders go out in the nation and infect local churches across the nation.
  8. Steps 3-6 increase not only in volume but in the depths of apostasy
  9. So called bible perversions (well over 150 since 1900) that further attack the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Trinity, etc
  10. The members of local churches have their soul vexed by the continuous bombardment in step 7 & 8
  11. Their souls get vexed further by their enjoyment of television, movies, entertainment.
  12. And to now rush to the conclusion…. the rejection of Christianity because the majority of churches and their ministers are steeped in apostasy.
