Things HAVE GOT to change here!!!

For the past six months I have thought about writing just about every day but then when I consider the content which is usually driven by the news events of the day I end before starting – in frustration. Many of the problems in the USA is direct result of policies and laws based on a erred philosophy of some sort (see for example: liberal political philosophy and their many agendas to reshape our country in their immoral and self-indulgent minds). America – the people – are getting what they deserve and it will get MUCH worse. The individuals, who should have been alert, sober and effective in safeguarding a more moral and servant-leadership way of life, went MIA.

Do you realize the preceding 116 words sums up the whole situation? And in this, the liberal IS being sober, alert and safeguarding against a more moral, conservative attempt to correct matters. This has been and will continue to be a very real battle of philosophies, politics, mentalities, and spiritual warfare in high places. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Ephesians 6:12] Again, matters are going to get MUCH worse here in the USA.

Then to look across the rest of the world and honestly there is no wonder why things are playing out in so many different ways but all with the same effect of masses being fed up with their governments or other countries. No wonder because all of these countries long ago kicked God out of their way of life. So – it is no wonder.

I am sure the reality of ISIS is because of Obama’s policies, “bent” and lack of true leadership. I know he and his posse point at Bush and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Obama’s bent. This cancer (ISIS) would be aggressively dealt with in the very beginning by wise true leadership. You can disagree with me, which is fine. A man who does not believe in an exceptional America and has aggressively tried to remove and hinder ways for the exceptionalism to impact correctly our country and the world does not have the moral and ethical right to judge against our nation. The truth is he should not be our president but the majority of the voting population of our country have went the way of gimmicks, coolness, fads and desperate need of popularity. Join the gang. Period. Drink the Kool-Aid, everyone else is.

We have got to change things here. If you are a parent, you of all people should be doing everything you can to put the garbage back in the garbage cans and take the garbage to corner to be removed from impacting your home, neighborhood, subdivision, city (get the point?).

We HAVE GOT to change things here.

Iran, Syria, Iraq, NSA news

Wise words from Governor Rick Perry on current events in Syria and Iraq.

An article I have been holding since 5/25 yet again clearly states Iran’s perspective of the USA. Really, as a president, why would you trust them?

Krauthammer’s 6/19 post on developments in Iraq.

In this Guardian post today, 80% of all audio calls (in length not just metadata) are recorded by the NSA.

Really?

The USA government under the current administration doesn’t have a plan to protect citizens/staff in places like Benghazi but it does have plans for how to perform in the case of a zombie apocalypse.

DOD plan for Zombie Apocalypse – 223872345-CONPLAN-8888—

I am surprised the plan was not to tweet solidarity and then threaten harm to the zombies if they crossed the red line.

How much money was wasted on such a thing? How many hours of time used for discussing, drafting, getting approval and then some level of training and awareness internally?

Why would such a thing be deemed worthy of hours and resources when security of staff in a real hot bed of anti-American activity was not deemed worthy of at least the same capital & resources?

Eatinger identified as CIA top lawyer central to Feinstein’s statement

The top CIA lawyer mentioned and central to the comments Feinstein made about the ongoing unethical and illegal actions of the CIA is Robert Eatinger.

The Guardian has an article following the comments and what has transpired since.

From the Guardian article:
“Eatinger, a longtime agency lawyer with counter-terrorism experience, was cited on Monday by the panel’s chairwoman, Dianne Feinstein of California, in her seminal speech lashing out at the CIA. Without naming him, Feinstein indicated he was instrumental in the agency’s now-abandoned torture practices, and had been cited over 1,600 times in the classified Senate torture investigation.

Feinstein said Eatinger, whom senators have taken care not to name, had alerted the Justice Department to her staff’s removal of a CIA document from a classified facility – which both Feinstein and Udall cite as a conflict of interest.

Ahead of Krass’s arrival at the CIA, Udall called on Eatinger to immediately recuse himself from any internal matters related to either the torture inquiry or the Senate panel generally. “We need to correct the record on the CIA’s coercive detention and interrogation program and declassify the Senate intelligence committee’s exhaustive study of it. I released my hold on Caroline Krass’s nomination today and voted for her to help change the direction of the agency,” Udall said in a statement on Thursday.

In a statement, CIA director John Brennan said was “extremely pleased” that the Senate had confirmed Krass, and praised Eatinger as “an exemplary public servant who has demonstrated throughout his career exceptional competence and integrity”.”

2 cents:

Considering what has come to light publicly I wonder just how long Brennan will remain as the CIA Director. I suggest within the next year he will make a statement he wants to now spend more time with family and friends and pursue some new interests. Which is all good because he is corrupt as well.

Electric grid and its security in question

I have been concerned about terrorism attacks on our water supplies and the electric grid for a long time. Actually shortly after the 9/11/01 events I expected as the government (state and federal) reviewed and made plans to protect the citizens that we were going to see these two areas mentioned and focused on. To the best of my knowledge that has not happened.  I remember watching a documentary (don’t remember the name or producer) that revealed that the electric grid in the USA is actually antiquated and for lack of proper terms being held together by band-aids and duct tape.

I am running behind (big time) on my reading of THE WEEK magazine (best weekly publication IMO); now within 5 weeks of current date (it was as bad as 10 weeks behind). (Life sure can interrupt your plans.) In the Jan 28 issue the focus was the dangers that squirrels post to the grid (Scratching my head about the use of precious paper space for this article). The Feb 6 article reports the attempt of sabotage/terrorism that occurred in the Silicone Valley power plant in April 2013 and the spin is maybe the grid is more secure than we thought. (Again IMO – The method was the weakness not the strength of security.)

Something must be in the air. I know some people would consider the what appears as sudden mentioning of the electric grid in the news as preparing the way for something that is going to happen. Some would say it will be a false flag operation used to galvanize public opinion for some stricter legislation, say more use of CCTV in neighborhoods across the country.

Today – without looking for it – two more articles came across” the bow” about the matter: March 11 Washinton Free Beacon article: Report – US electric grid inherently vulnerable to sabotage and Fox News article via a different source reporting about the FERC study.

Takeaway from the four mentions I have come across this week? Time to the pull the trigger on the purchase of a generator for the home

Feinstein vs. CIA

Transcript of Feinstein’s speech today in reference to the CIA illegal search, seizure of files and intimidation of the Senate intelligence committee staff members.

If you read the transcript which is very informative about our government and the CIA you will see toward the end the following:

“I should note that for most if not all of the CIA’s detention and interrogation program, the now-acting general counsel was a lawyer in the CIA’s counterterrorism center, the unit within which the CIA managed and carried out this program. From mid-2004 until the official termination of the detention and interrogation program in January 2009, he was the unit’s chief lawyer. He is mentioned by name more than 1,600 times in our study.

And now, this individual is sending a crimes report to the Department of Justice on the actions of Congressional staff — the same Congressional staff who researched and drafted a report that details how CIA officers, including the acting general counsel himself, provided inaccurate information to the Department of Justice about the program.”

This is the kind of stuff that is supposedly (wink, wink, nod, nod) fiction.

I am trying to locate the name of this individual. If someone knows please share.

CIA Director has already commented that her comments and accusation “that’s just beyond the scope of reason.”
