We should be supporting Israel completely

Their is plenty of stories and headlines out there about the issues surrounding Israel and Gaza right now. I have been watching and reading and I am not surprised that the president of our country and his administration – specifically Kerry – find that the most constructive thing to do is put pressure on Netanyahu and Israel. The administration of our government is void of character, virtue, common sense and understanding of what is actually going on over there (or heck anywhere). Hamas which is the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza is a tool of Iran and with that knowledge that should be enough to be said. Israel gave them Gaza free of police, military and sanctions. They tried to provide the best foundation for the Palestinians to thrive and become a separate nation. Hamas immediately went to work arming and creating fortresses so as to attack Israel. Read the history. Krauthammer’s recent article is a great summary of what is happening and what is the history of that land is. Kerry mocking Netanyahu and the nation of Israel when he thought no one could hear him just proves the point that in the real moment of his and their being they are void of character and understanding.

Netanyahu has had the military to try their best to limit civilian deaths. Hamas being the cowards and immoral use the civilians as human shields. Again, enough should be said with that knowledge and understanding.

I am embarrassed and close to humiliated that our so-called presidential leadership and his cabinet are the people that they are. I look forward to them all being replaced. I know that is against the grain of the majority in our society in America and that is disturbing as well.

Word of advice for our current president – please shut up and leave Israel alone. You do not have the correct knowledge, understanding or character to try and influence the situation over there.

Mr. Netanyahu please ignore our current administration in all matters that your nation is dealing with.

Really?

The USA government under the current administration doesn’t have a plan to protect citizens/staff in places like Benghazi but it does have plans for how to perform in the case of a zombie apocalypse.

DOD plan for Zombie Apocalypse – 223872345-CONPLAN-8888—

I am surprised the plan was not to tweet solidarity and then threaten harm to the zombies if they crossed the red line.

How much money was wasted on such a thing? How many hours of time used for discussing, drafting, getting approval and then some level of training and awareness internally?

Why would such a thing be deemed worthy of hours and resources when security of staff in a real hot bed of anti-American activity was not deemed worthy of at least the same capital & resources?

Abbas placed more obstacles to peace

In news that I am sure will get little publicity because it ONCE AGAIN shows that the obstacle is the Palestinians we have Abbas changing again the requirements for peace (see the story below). I checked Fox, CNN, AP, Guardian, Drudge Report and BBC this morning and did not see this being covered yet. Tied to this story is the possible release of Pollard a US citizen was an Israeli spy.

I have highlighted what I thought was significant in the news story.

From a Bible perspective, any land in the Israeli area was given to them by God and is their birthright. With that understanding and context any land they give to another nation is 1. a gracious gift 2. contrary to God’s instructions.

Second do you not find it interesting and quite telling that NONE of the ARAB and MUSLIM nations will GIVE a small portion of their LARGE territories as land for a Palestinian nation?

Let me make it clear: The Palestinian definition of peace is a land void of Israeli/Jewish possession and citizens. Then and only then will Palestinians be at peace with Israel.

From Debka:

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas did not announce his walkout from the negotiations with Israel or directly turn down the package of far-reaching Israeli concessions which US Secretary of State John Kerry assembled with Binyamin Netanyahu early Wednesday, April 1. He simply turned his back on the commitment he made ahead of the talks to refrain from unilateral applications to UN bodies while they were in progress. As soon as the US Secretary flew off to Brussels, he sent out applications for  “the independent Palestinian state” to join 12 UN agencies as members.
This was after the Palestinian leader upped his price for meeting Kerry’s request to extend peace diplomacy from April up until the end of the year. He demanded that Israel raise the number of 26 Palestinians due to be released from jail this weekend, to 1,000. They must also include Israeli Arabs.

He was not satisfied with Israel’s offer to free another 400 terrorists and accept a partial settlement freeze; Israel must release the same number as it traded for Gilead Shalit, the Israeli hostage held by Hamas, he said.
Abbas further insisted on top Palestinian terrorist operatives serving sentences for multiple murder be on the list of released prisoners, including the notorious Marwan Barghouti (who is serving six life sentences for six murders), Ahmad Saadat, (who plotted the assassination of the Israeli cabinet minister Rehavam Zeevi) and the return to their homes of terrorists exiled as too dangerous to leave at large in the Palestinian territories.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu tried to calm the anger in his cabinet and the Israeli public over the bottomless Palestinian capacity for extortion. His associates said that he shared John Kerry’s belief that buying another nine months for the negotiations would give the US-led peace track a good shot at running full course.
However, Mahmoud Abbas placed deliberate obstacles in their path by holding the diplomatic process hostage to continual Israeli concessions.

Electric grid and its security in question

I have been concerned about terrorism attacks on our water supplies and the electric grid for a long time. Actually shortly after the 9/11/01 events I expected as the government (state and federal) reviewed and made plans to protect the citizens that we were going to see these two areas mentioned and focused on. To the best of my knowledge that has not happened.  I remember watching a documentary (don’t remember the name or producer) that revealed that the electric grid in the USA is actually antiquated and for lack of proper terms being held together by band-aids and duct tape.

I am running behind (big time) on my reading of THE WEEK magazine (best weekly publication IMO); now within 5 weeks of current date (it was as bad as 10 weeks behind). (Life sure can interrupt your plans.) In the Jan 28 issue the focus was the dangers that squirrels post to the grid (Scratching my head about the use of precious paper space for this article). The Feb 6 article reports the attempt of sabotage/terrorism that occurred in the Silicone Valley power plant in April 2013 and the spin is maybe the grid is more secure than we thought. (Again IMO – The method was the weakness not the strength of security.)

Something must be in the air. I know some people would consider the what appears as sudden mentioning of the electric grid in the news as preparing the way for something that is going to happen. Some would say it will be a false flag operation used to galvanize public opinion for some stricter legislation, say more use of CCTV in neighborhoods across the country.

Today – without looking for it – two more articles came across” the bow” about the matter: March 11 Washinton Free Beacon article: Report – US electric grid inherently vulnerable to sabotage and Fox News article via a different source reporting about the FERC study.

Takeaway from the four mentions I have come across this week? Time to the pull the trigger on the purchase of a generator for the home

Intentions

Over the last two weeks much has been written about the events that are unfolding in the Middle East. Much of what has been pushed out to the masses has been commentary and opinion not actual developments. Here is my 2 cents:

The matter of Iran and the nuclear weapon issue gets down to discerning their intention based on their actions. What they want is for everyone to believe their intention in reference to nuclear technology has no correlation to their actions and policy in actual experience in the Middle East and abroad. The lives negatively impacted in the region because of their funneling funds, weapons and soldiers in places such as Syria should be considered the exception to the rule. The same goes for their funding, weapons and strategic leadership to Hezbollah; yes, another supposed exception. The same goes for their … with Hamas and other identified terrorist groups. All of these we are to believe are the exception to their “noble” intentions. Yes, what they want the world to believe is that when it comes to nuclear technology they have no desire to develop and use it for military resources. They have no desire to make it available to Hezbollah, Hamas, etc. They have no desire or intention to acquire the “flaming sword of Islam”. We are to believe that the ayatollah – the chief ruler of Iran – has an ethical precept when it comes to nuclear weapons. (Mind you, not the tons of WMD chemical weapons in Syria’s arsenal. This they allowed to be after all who are they to infringe on a sovereign recognized nation?) No we are to disregard the current and historical practices of the leadership of the country and accept the warm smile, kind words and a promise that they have no intention to create nuclear weapons.

I have written it before but am stating it again – the current president of the USA is actively working a nuclear strategy in the Middle East that will make the demand that Israel must get rid of their nuclear weapons. The groundwork has been made over the past six to twelve months. The final calling line – If Iran is to have no nuclear weapons why is Israel allowed to have them? The political strategies the chief empty suit is trying to make into a staunch reality is one in which Israel will be positioned as a war-monger and in order to exist peacefully (wink, wink) they will need to relinquish much more land and authority to the Palestinians and scrap heap their nuclear weapons. They are being quickly corralled into a corner  (if not have been) that is of the making of Barrack Hussein Obama.

The events which are occurring and the way our current administration is engaging them is scary. We have a HORRENDOUS vacuum of leadership in our government – Wise, Ethical Leadership. And if I may take it even a step farther – Christian Leadership.

MEANWHILE,  in the USA’s MSM and the populace as a whole important matters have been relegated to the small font, less prominent headline placeholders (if even present) on websites and publications:

  • the NSA and government invasion of privacy across the globe the economy and the change of the norm for the average employee remains inferior and for many unacceptable and unsustainable
  • the mandatory national health insurance plan created by the president that is economically and practically unsustainable is uncoiling and coming to life
  • the almost complete erosion of moral principles, civility, decency and etiquette in society
  • many more things but I’m sure you get the point
